This was made with fabric I have had for well over 20 years. It is a robust fabric, likely for curtains or homeware. The pink kitty cat on this collar is from 1930’s- it’s so delicate and fragile- I’m amazed I managed to sew it on in tact. The button, ribbon and other elements of this piece are also vintage. The only new part, is the red trim that I had ordered for a different project- but had never been used.
