Collection: Collars
I have a passion for sewing machines, my favourite it my hand winding 1930's machine. This is the machine i have learned to make collars on. My collars are quite elaborate, including: Trims, different types of Ric-Rac etc, Aplique's and combining elements of hand sewing and machine sewing. Much like my necklaces, the vision of what the collar wants to be will start with a fabric, applique, trim or something as my source of inspiration. From there I will spend hours finding the exact right trim, ribbons, lace, or whatever feels right for each piece. I have an extensive collection of vintage fabric, buttons, brooches, ribbons, trims- This to me feel's like the best way to bring these elements together.

Clowncore collars
Afew years ago I made a couple of collars and put them on Etsy. This stunning photo was sent by one of my wonderful customers, looking epic in a Ronald Mc Doanld Halloween costume - just perfect.

My 1930's Handwinding machine
I love it so much, I never intended to use it-I was going to turn into a lamp- until one nightI decided to have a go- see if i could fix it. I DID!!!!I couldn't believe it. It makes the most beautiful thick stitching- that no other machine can do.
