These are my most fabulous aquarium earrings made with recycled parts and brand new ethically sourced glass animals. I am SO proud of these earrings. I love aquariums and paint octopuses, so it always needed to be JUST right, if I was ever going to combine 3 of my favourite things in life: jewellery, aquariums and octopi(pusses whatever floats your boat)
There are only 11 pairs in existence, so I would snap them up quick. Each pair has slightly different features, but i did try to make them to a uniform style/pattern-which is very unusual for me. I imagine this theme will evolve in the future with different variations, but for now this will be it for a little while.
This particular pair has a realistic blue seahorse on one side and a red and white spotted octopus with yellow fish on the other. It is finished off with red tassels.
Each earring is meant to represent an almost real aquarium look and feel for your earlobes, not only is there the variations of neon colourful foliage associated with aquariums, but also the gravel, tiny shells, real pearls and more.
Each earring is backed in iridescent vinyl, so one side is flat and shiny -and the other is the mini aquarium for your ears.
